Ed joined Central Region Schools Trust in 2022 and was appointed Head of Operations in 2025. He leads the trust’s operational functions across IT, Estates, Governance, and Data, ensuring these services are compliant, strategically aligned, and continuously improving. His work focuses on removing non-academic barriers to learning, enabling school leaders to focus on teaching, learning and pupil outcomes.

Ed has worked in the education sector since 2012, developing a strong track record in operational leadership and a deep understanding of the multi-academy trust landscape. Prior to joining Central Region Schools Trust, he served as IT Operations Manager within a large MAT, where he oversaw IT service delivery for more than 50 schools across the UK. Since joining the trust, Ed has continued to lead on range of large scale, cross-functional projects—driving improvements in infrastructure, strengthening security, and enhancing service delivery across the trust.

With a strong commitment to operational excellence, Ed plays a key role in shaping the strategic direction of trust operations. He is passionate about developing high-performing, collaborative teams and embedding scalable systems and processes that drive consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement. 

 

 

 

 

Ashley joined Arrow Vale High School as an IT Technician in January 2013 and has since advanced through several roles within the trust, becoming IT Services Lead in August 2025. With over 16 years of experience in the sector, he now oversees the delivery of IT services, ensuring operational efficiency and managing infrastructure across all our sites.

Before joining Central Region Schools Trust, Ashley held various IT roles within the education sector, where he supported the rollout and implementation of IT systems and services, with a strong focus on networking and switch management.

Throughout his career, Ashley has been involved in his local community as a parent governor. He is committed to ensuring all students have equitable access to IT, supporting their learning and enriching the educational experience within our exceptional schools.

 

 

 

 

Dan began his journey with the trust over eleven years ago as an IT Technician. With his strong technical knowledge and skillset, he has progressed to the role of IT Manager.

 

 

 

 

Mark began working at Holyhead School over 24 years ago and has implemented and supported countless technologies that have supported in staff and students use of IT across this time.

 

 

 

 

Scott has been with the trust for six years, initially joining as an apprentice, he has grown with the trust and now plays a key role in supporting our team in managing and resolving helpdesk tickets across the Trust.

 

 

 

 

Lyall has been with the trust for over 4 years, starting as an IT Technician at Holyhead before transitioning to Gospel Oak and advancing to the role of Senior IT Technician.

 

 

 

 

 

Jamie has been with the trust for over two years, initially as an IT Technician he has since been promoted to be Senior IT Technician and now supports several schools. He has also recently completed a level 4 network engineer course.

 

 

 

 

Matt is one of our newer team member and has been with the trust for just under a year. He currently provides onsite support for a several schools across the trust.

 

 

 

 

Will has been with the trust for almost two years. After successfully completing his Level 3 IT Apprenticeship, he has been recently appointed as a Roaming IT Technician.

 

 

 

 

Josh has been with the trust for over five years, during which time he has provided onsite support to the majority of our trust schools, gaining invaluable knowledge along the way.

 

 

 

 

Jack has been working with the trust for over two years now. Starting off as an apprentice within the trust, he has become an integral member of the team supporting Gospel Oak

 

 

 

 

With 24 years of experience in IT, Paul has played an integral role in developing IT across our Trust, particularly through his support for Church Hill & Abbeywood.

 

 

 

 

Arshdip has been with the trust for over two years, successfully completing a Level 3 apprenticeship and now finishing a Level 4 apprenticeship.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Callum has been with the trust for just almost two years and has recently completed his Level 3 apprenticeship while providing onsite support at Waseley Hills.

 

 

 

 

Alex has been with the trust for over 6 months and is progressing towards completing his Level 3 apprenticeship, while also providing onsite support at Arrow Vale.

 

 

 

 

 

Kian is the newest member of the team and is progressing towards completing his Level 3 apprenticeship, while also providing onsite support at Gospel Oak.
